Baby massage

I run five week groups, one off workshops, and one to one sessions in your home instructing baby massage. Having trained with To Baby and Beyond I am certified to guide parents and carers in using various massage strokes on their baby.

Benefits of baby massage:

Regular baby massage of just ten minute sessions can really help build a confident parent-baby relationship. It is very relaxing for babies and it helps heal certain ailments as well.

 

Massage can help soothe fussy babies suffering with trapped wind, constipation and colic, and promotes better sleep quality. It can help strengthen muscle tone and alleviate certain skin conditions.

 

It also helps to strengthen baby's digestive and respiratory systems and stimulate the circulatory and nervous systems. Importantly it is a way of learning and practising loving touch and helps parents become more aware of their baby's body.

Baby massage is particularly beneficial for premature babies and those with additional needs, encouraging deeper sleep, stimulating growth, promoting relaxation, and helping them to tolerate positive touch.

My baby massage classes are for babies aged six weeks to crawling.

Group sessions are for a maximum of 8, and I do not charge double for twins.​​​​​​

One to one sessions:

One to one sessions take place in your own home and a whole course covers three sessions. Depending on availability, these can be once a week or all taken in one week.

The cost of a one to one baby massage course is £85.
